dc.description.abstract | Video game artworks Over 7 seas & 7 mountains by Aleksandra Jovanic, Can you feel the spill? by Les Mislerebles trio and Symbols of Fortune by Katarina Kaplarski all share a theme of seriousness in play, an artistic opposition to the element of leisure and playfulness in computer gaming culture which these artists use to stress a number of social issues that our both local as well as global. By analyzing these works in the wider discourse of video game art we are hoping to come to a better understanding of this contemporary art genre in its specific Serbian context. | sr |
