Phänomenologische Ethik zwischen der unendlichen Verantwortung für den Anderen und der ontologischen Differenz
Abstract
E: This article examines the possibility of a phenomenologically based ethics by principally contrasting the respective positions of Levinas and Heidegger. The thesis is that Levinas' critique of ontology does not correspond to Heidegger's fundamental-ontological objective, which can not be presented in terms of an oppositionbetween ethics and ontology, which again is premise of Levinas' prioritising of ethics. Bearing this mind, we attempt to explore the capacities of an ethics founded on fundamental ontology, especially regarding the questions of justice and resposibility.
