Čitavo događanje otvoreno je koncertom hora Jevrejske opštine Novi Sad – „Hašira“ i izložbom u novosadskoj Sinagogi pod nazivom „Pisanje stradanja: vodič kroz publikacije o Holokaustu“ autorke, Bilјane Albahari i dizajnerke Ornele Rezinović.

AB - Blockchain technology has gained significant attention for its decentralized, secure, transparent, and immutable characteristics. It has been adopted in various domains, including the financial and education sectors. This systematic review provides a comprehensive analysis of the opportunities, challenges, and future educational prospects of blockchain technology by examining published research from various disciplines. A bibliometric approach was adopted using R Studio. Datasets were sourced from the Scopus database, which included Scopusindexed articles from 2018 to 2022. The keywords “blockchain” and “education” were used to retrieve relevant articles. Specific criteria were applied to filter the literature sources, ensuring that our discussions focused on the applications and challenges of blockchain technology in education. We only considered articles written in English, specifically those published in proceedings and journals. The review identified that blockchain technology has the potential to transform education by enhancing data security, facilitating efficient verification and credentialing processes, and enabling peer-to-peer transactions. However, addressing challenges such as adoption, technical expertise, data privacy, security, and standardization is crucial. Therefore, the study concludes that implementing blockchain technology in education can yield significant benefits for future generations. These benefits include reducing the gap in global education and increasing transparency and accountability in the education sector.

AB - As technology progresses, there has been an increasing interest in using Chatbot GPT (Generative Pre-trained Transformer) in education. Chatbot GPT, or ChatGPT, gained one million users within the first week of launching in November 2022 and had amassed over 100 million active users by February 2023. This type of artificial intelligence uses natural language processing to convert it into a user. This paper presents a comprehensive analysis and review of 34 articles published on ChatGPT and its potential impact on education by utilizing the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) methodology. This review analyzed various studies and articles to examine the strengths and limitations of GPT language models in education from 2018 to the present. The advantages of ChatGPT include its capacity to provide personalized and adaptive learning, instant feedback, and improved accessibility. However, there are potential drawbacks, such as the lack of emotional intelligence, the risk of overreliance on technology, and privacy concerns. This review suggests that ChatGPT has significant promise for education yet reinforces the necessity for further research and careful consideration of possible risks and limitations. Specifically, it pointed out potential invisible manipulations by instructing ChatGPT to answer educationrelated topics. The paper concludes by discussing the implications of ChatGPT for the future of education and emphasizing the need for further research in this field.

AB - The role of social media in information dissemination and agenda-setting has significantly expanded in recent years. By offering real-time interactions, online platforms have become invaluable tools for studying societal responses to significant events as they unfold. However, online reactions to external developments are influenced by various factors, including the nature of the event and the online environment. This study examines the dynamics of public discourse on digital platforms to shed light on this issue. We analyzed over 12 million posts and news articles related to two significant events: the release of ChatGPT in 2022 and the global discussions about COVID-19 vaccines in 2021. Data was collected from multiple platforms, including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, YouTube, and GDELT. We employed topic modeling techniques to uncover the distinct thematic emphases on each platform, which reflect their specific features and target audiences. Additionally, sentiment analysis revealed various public perceptions regarding the topics studied. Lastly, we compared the evolution of engagement across platforms, unveiling unique patterns for the same topic. Notably, discussions about COVID-19 vaccines spread more rapidly due to the immediacy of the subject, while discussions about ChatGPT, despite its technological importance, propagated more gradually.

AB - Nikolaj Velimirović’s definition of Svetosavlje or Saint-Savahood from 1953 as Or- thodox Christianity of Serbian style and experience is one of the most famous definitions of this term1. The term Svetosavlje was coined in early 1930s by students of the Faculty of Theology at University of Belgrade who launched a journal of that name2. Svetosavlje or Saint-Savahood refers to a medieval Serbian nobleman and the first archbishop of the Serbian Orthodox Church, Saint Sava Nemanjić (1175–1236). By linking Svetosavlje to Orthodox Christianity, Velimirović’s defini- tion implies its universal character while also, by restricting it to national history, particularising the universal Christian experience.

“Normalcy” in Behavioral Philosophy and in Spiritual Practice

AB - This paper introduces the concept of behavioral philosophy, discusses its relationship to philosophical counseling and psychotherapy, and focuses on the concept of normalcy as the normative foundation for a broader discussion on pathology versus philosophical dysfunctionality in life. Following the starting definitions, the argument proceeds to considering how normalcy as a normative foundation of both behavioral philosophy and philosophical counseling and of psychotherapy (along with pathology and pathologization) plays a role in the perspective of behavioral self-improvement sought by behavioral philosophy and by psychotherapy (for various reasons, depending on the psychotherapeutic school and methodology). The author concludes that normalcy, rather than pathology or mental disorder, is the focal concept to discuss in order to understand the role of spirituality and spiritual conviction and belief within the context of therapeutic change, whether it is interpreted philosophically or strictly psychotherapeutically.

Gender Equality for Show: Serbian Performative Europeanization

AB - The chapter aims to show how gender equality can be used for populist purposes, becoming performative in the constitution of façade democracy. It looks at specifics of the relationship between the Serbian Orthodox Church and the state-led gender equality policymaking in Serbia. Namely, in contrast to the anti-gender mobilization worldwide, most often heartily supported by the relevant religious actors, Serbia witnessed an unexpected silence on the side of the SOC representatives on issues of gender equality. The chapter provides a look back at the years prior to 2017, demonstrating the power and presence of SOC in shaping Serbian conservative politics, to then focus on the recent political developments, revolving around the appointment of the first lesbian Prime Minister. The chapter ultimately shows how the catch-all populism of the current regime succeeds in capturing gender equality from the feminist movement, making the Serbian Orthodox Church, at the same time, the most unlikely ally in the state gender equality for show.

AB - In this article, our focus is on the topic of engagement and possibility of empathy with future generations. We acknowledge that empathy for future generations is practically unattainable in its strictest sense due to the lack of access to their potential mental states and the absence of direct interaction. Additionally, we will draw upon the arguments presented by Goldie and Slaby to address concerns regarding the potential paternalization that may arise in empathic relations towards future generations. However, despite these limitations, it is important to emphasize that we are still engaged with future generations. Instead of adopting a paternalizing approach where we impose expectations on how they should feel, our engagement exposes us to the anticipated but unknown judgments of future generations. Throughout this article, we will argue that engagement with future generations brings out our own social self-consciousness and provides a basis of our connectedness and responsibility towards future generations.

AB - In this paper, I analyze and compare Maria Kronfeldner’s and Tim Ingold’s views on the conceptual relationship between nature and culture. I show that despite the differences, their views remain close particularly in terms of their integrative potential. The ultimate purpose of this examination is to lay the groundwork for further research on the problem of conceptual integration between sociocultural anthropology and evolutionary psychology. The paper comprises four main sections. First, I briefly explore the history of Darwinism to show how nature and culture were conceptualized within this framework. Second, I deal with Kronfeldner’s separationist stance and Ingold’s holistic perspective on the nature/culture conceptual relationship. Third, I discuss the implications of their views on the choice of research heuristics in the sciences that study human nature and cultures. While I interpret Ingold as supporting methodological integration, Kronfelder argues for a version of integrative pluralism. Lastly, I provide an outlook for further discussions on conceptual integration and integrative pluralism.

Remodeling the Serbian Built Environment Towards the Spaces of Inclusivity

Milica Mađanović, Institute for Philosphy and Social Theory, University of Belgrade
Davor Ereš, Institute for Philosphy and Social Theory, University of Belgrade

For decades, the issue of accessibility of the built environment remains one of the key topics
in the societies focused on creation of equitable spaces, appropriate for use of all their citizens. The
Serbian Planning and Construction Law recognizes the necessity of accessibility standards, issuing the
set of accessibility norms and defining them as mandatory technical measures, standards and
conditions of design, planning and construction that ensure unhindered movement and access for
people with disabilities, children and the elderly.
In response to the Reworking architecture/ city thematic stream, this paper aims to explore how
can the remodeling of built environment, more specifically, public buildings, enhance their
functionality for the people for mobility impairments. To do so, it will analyze the case study the
reconstruction (arch. Z. Abadić) of the Palace of Justice in Serbia, a masterpiece originally constructed
in 1973 (architects Z. Žunković and M. Živadinović). The largest judicial facility in Serbia, housing
The High Court in Belgrade, the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, the criminal department of the
Second Court in Belgrade and the Second Prosecutor's Office, the Palace of Justice was fully renovated
in 2019.
This paper will focus on a specific aspect of the building’s remodeling approach which was
least discussed in terms of architectural contemporaneity – its accessibility. The research discusses the
design strategies employed to make the building accessible to the citizens with mobility impairments.
The paper will answer the following questions – what was successful about the particular design
decisions regarding the Palace of Justice’s accessibility, what could have been done differently – and
why. Ultimately, the paper implores the necessity of reworking Serbian architecture – and public
spaces – to transform them into inclusive environment that could be equally enjoyed by all its citizens.

THE BOOK OF ABSTRACTS of the panel: The One and Many: The Reception of Neoplatonic Notion of Hierarchy in the 14th and 15th century Balkans

AB - The primary objective of this panel is to examine the reception of the Neoplatonism within the religious contexts of the Balkans during the 14th and 15th centuries, with a particular emphasis on exploring the concept of hierarchy and the interplay between the one and many. The panel aims to delve into the impact of Neoplatonic metaphysical concepts on the Christian and Islamic traditions in the Balkans, exploring their influence on theological and philosophical doctrines, religious rituals, artistic and architectural creations, as well as medical practices. Particular emphasis will be dedicated to the Neoplatonic concept of hierarchy, specifically examining its manifestation in two mystical and monastic movements of the era: Christian Hesychasm, originating with the monks of Mount Athos, and Islamic Sufism, embraced by the Ottoman military during their Balkan campaigns. The panel also aims to scrutinize the Italian Renaissance's adoption of Neoplatonic hierarchies by investigating the introduction of medical practices into the Balkans during the 15th century. Dionysius the Areopagite is credited with originating the concept of hierarchy to elucidate the process through which holiness is conveyed from God, often referred to as the One, to the subsequent created reality. Given that the term was not employed within the Christian tradition prior to Dionysius and was also not present in the Islamic tradition, essays concentrating on these traditions tend to use the term ‘hierarchy’ in a flexible manner to illustrate the connection between the one and many.

Georges Florovsky and St Justin Popović: Brothers in arms for the Neopatristic Synthesis

AB - The aim of the paper is to offer an overview of the long-lasting friendship between
Georges Florovsky and St Justin Popović, as well as of their common project to build
an Orthodox theological synthesis on the basis of the patristic tradition. The paper
focuses on three periods from Florovsky’s and Popović’s lives, from late 1910 and to
early 1920, from late 1920s to late 1930s, and finally on 1940s. I argue that in the first
period both authors developed their theological visions relying on Solovyov and
Florensky, on the one hand, and in opposition to the ecclesial nationalism of the
Slavophiles and conservative Orthodox hierarchs, on the other hand. Further, I
investigate how during the late 1920s and 1930s both authors searched for an
Orthodox synthesis mostly in dialogue with their Orthodox predecessors, especially
Solovyov, Florensky and Bulgakov, as well as the modern western philosophical
tradition. The focus will shift then to the 1940s, which was characterized by frequent
meetings between Florovsky and Popović in Belgrade, Yugoslavia. I argue that in this
period the Church Fathers became for both authors the golden standard for Orthodox
theology, and the idea of the neo-patristic synthesis developed in the full scale.

AB - Relying primarily on the analyses and suggestions by Rancière and Lévi-Strauss, the authors of this paper endeavour to present a critique of the hierarchically valued landmarks of travelling and education. The first part of the paper is dedicated to Western travellers and their ‘civilising’ treatment of other landscapes and peoples, previously unknown. The second part of the paper identifies an analogous pattern when it comes to relationship established in the educational process, where the new and the unknown also have to be mastered, conquered, and subdued by unquestionable knowledge. The conclusion suggests the possibility of deconstructing the predefined system of civilisation and/or knowledge, with a view to creating the possibility for the affirmation of differences without domination, as well as learning without an unambiguous explanation, a possibility that may perhaps materialise with the abandoning of the illusion about the universal authority of Knowledge and its possessor.

Modal Logic in Integrative Philosophical Practice

Fatić, Aleksandar

(Beograd : Institut za filozofiju i društvenu teoriju, 2023)

AB - The paper discusses the differences between a practical emphasis on binary logic on the one hand, and modal logic, on the other, specifically in the fields of philosophical practice and psychotherapy. Although studies of practical applications of modal logic in the helping professions are recent, the discussion largely revolves around the controversial application of modality in psychotherapy by C.G. Jung and Lacan’s psychoanalysis. The present argument touches on some of the conceptual dilemmas associated with the relationship between logical modality, intuition and scientificity in psychotherapy, all of which are a part of the philosophical foundation of psychotherapy.
psihoanalizi C.G. Junga i u lakanovskoj psihoanalizi.
Svi ovi aspekti savetodavnog procesa spadaju u same filozofske
osnove psihoterapije.
