Hermeneutics of Recollection: Gadamer and Ricoeur

AB  - This paper analyzes the notion of recollection in Hans Georg Gadamer and Paul Ricoeur’s thought, in the context of time distance as “obstacles” towards understanding the past. Particular attention is paid to the understanding the phenomenon of “Death” as a time gap between the past and the present. In connection with this problem, we find efforts of philosophical hermeneutics on the one hand and historicism on the other. Differences between historicism and hermeneutics can be outlined in relation to the role that memory plays in the process of understanding in Gadamer and Ricoeur. What does Death mean in terms of understanding for history, and what for hermeneutics? How can we understand temporal distance? Is it possible and necessary to overcome it? What is the role of recollection and how does it participate in understanding? – these are some of the main issues that will be addressed in the text. Finally, the task of the text is to offer the meaning and significance of the hermeneutics of recollection in relation to the mentioned questions, through the interaction of the thoughts of the two authors.
AB  - Tekst analizira pojam sećanja kod Hansa Georga Gadamera i Pola Rikera u kontekstu vre menske distance kao „prepreke“ razumevanja prošlosti. Naročita pažnja usmerena je na ra zumevanje fenomena „smrti“ kao vremenskog ponora između prošlosti i sadašnjosti. U vezi 
sa tim stoje i nastojanja filozofske hermeneutike sa jedne strane i istoricizma sa druge. U 
odnosu na ulogu koju sećanje igra u procesu razumevanju kod Gadamera i Rikera, daće se 
ocrtati razlike između istoricizma i hermeneuitke. Šta smrt predstavlja u pogledu razumevanja za istoriju a šta za hermeneutiku? Kako razumeti vremensku distancu? Da li je moguće i 
da li je neophodno prevazići je? Koja je uloga sećanja i kako ono učestvuje u razumevanju? 
– neka su od glavnih pitanja koja će biti adresirana u tekstu. Na kraju, zadatak teksta je da 
kroz interakciju misli dvojice autora, ponudi značenje i značaj hermeneutike sećanja u pogledu na navedena pitanja.

AB  - Predmet kritčkog osvrta su knjige Riječ je o slici Jagora Bučana i Slika i reč Estetčkog društva Srbije, iz čijih naslova je već očito da dele istu temu. U radu je ukazano na sličnost između njih sa dve tačke gledišta: uočeno je ono što je prisutno u obe, ali i ono što je u njima odsutno, a čini se značajnim za razumevanje teorijskih problema kojima se bave.
AB  - The article provides a critical review of the books Riječ je o slici by Jagor Bučan and Slika i reč
by the Serbian Society for Aesthetics. From the titles it is already evident that they share the 
same topic. The paper points out the similarities between the two texts on both what is present and what is absent in them, which also seems important for understanding the theoretical problems they deal with.

AB  - Der Artikel analysiert Heideggers Haltung zum Nationalsozialismus an-hand seiner privaten Aufzeichnungen, die unter dem Titel Schwarze Hefte in neun Bänden vollständig erschienen sind. Obwohl unbestritten ist, dass Heidegger zwischen 1930 und 1934 ein ausgesprochener An-hänger des nationalsozialistischen Programms war, zeigen seine privaten Schriften, dass er seinen Irrtum und seinen falschen philosophischen Glauben an einen möglichen, durch die nationalsozialistische „Revolu-tion“ zu vollziehenden Neubeginn der Philosophie nach dem Ende der metaphysischen Tradition des philosophischen Denkens eingesehen hat. Der Artikel erläutert, auf welche Weise Heidegger nach 1934 den Na-tionalsozialismus kritisierte sowie die Umstände seines im selben Jahr erfolgten Rücktritts als Rektor der Universität Freiburg.
AB  - U članku se analizira Hajdegerov odnos prema nacionalsocijalizmu na osnovu njegovih pri vatnih zapisa pod nazivom „Schwarze Hefte“, a koji su ove godine potpuno objavljeni u devet 
tomova. Iako je neosporno da je Hajdeger od 1930 do 1934 bio otvoreni pristalica nacionalsocijalističkog programa, njegovi privatni zapisi pokazuju njegovu priznatu zabludu (Irrtum) i 
filozofsku zavedenost u mogući novi početak (Anfang) filozofije nakon kraja metafizičke tradicije filozofskog mišljenja, a koji treba da omogući nacionalsocijalistička „revolucija“ u Nemačkoj. Članak tumači kako i na koji način je Hajdeger kritikovao nacionalsocijalizam nakon 
1934 i rektorske ostavke iste godine na univerzitetu u Frajburgu.

The Messiness of Victory and Heroism: A Brief Response to Carl Schmitt

AB  - The article focuses on a passage from Carl Schmitt’s Ex Captivitate Salus – a book famously written in a Nurnberg prison in 1946 – in which he draws, from memory, on a story derived from Serbian epic poetry, to justify his understanding of historiography, victory, and the figure of the hero. Analyzing the entire Serbian epic poem from which Schmitt extracts the vignette in question, we show how the text of the poem presents a significantly more complicated and messy picture of the figures of victor, victory, and hero, heroism. The anonymous Serbian poet, addressing himself to his contemporary audience, with which he is intimately familiar, really subverts simplistic expectations regarding the heroism and victory of the Serbian hero, Marko Kraljević. Finally, the article contrasts these complex and at times paradoxical figures of victory and the hero in the poem with their presentation in Carl Schmitt’s writing.
AB  - U članku se dovodi u pitanje jedan pasus iz knjige Ex Captivitate Salus, Karla Šmita – knjige 
koja je, kao što je poznato, pisana u nirnberškom zatvoru u Nemačkoj, 1946. godine. U tom 
pasusu se Šmit oslanja na detalj iz srpske narodne epske pesme kako bi argumentovao svoje 
razumevanje istoriografije, pobede i figure junaka. Analizirajući celu pesmu Marko Kraljević 
i Musa Kesedžija, iz koje Šmit preuzima anegdotu o junaku Marku, u članku se ukazuje na to 
da su koncepti pobede, pobednika, junaka i junaštva u samoj pesmi znatno komplikovaniji i 
neuredniji od one koju Šmit predstavlja. Obraćajući se publici koju vrlo dobro poznaje, srpski 
pevač podriva pojednostavljena očekivanja o junaštvu i pobedi srpskog junaka, Marka Kraljevića. Članak zaključuje da je ova komplikovana slika iz same pesme daleko od pojednostavljene i manipulativne slike koju nudi Šmit.

„Das Verstehen öffnet ein weites Reich von Möglichkeiten...“. Geistes- und Erziehungswissenschaften in einer funktionalisierten Welt

AB  - Ausgehend vom Verstehenskonzept Wilhelm Diltheys werden die Modalitäten der Ausbildung von Kompetenzen innerhalb der Erfahrung der reflexiven Bildung thematisiert. Im Sinne des neuzeitlichen Wissenschaftsbegriffs wird die Rolle der Wissenschaften als Instanz möglicher Realwerte (Optionswerte) bestimmt, wobei den Geisteswissenschaften eine horizonteröffnende Funktion bezüglich der Sinnoptionen zugeschrieben wird. In diesem Zusammenhang wird auf die Infragestellung dieses Ermöglichungscharakters der Geistes- und Erziehungswissenschaften durch die Kommerzialisierung des universitären Lehr- und Forschungsbetriebs hingewiesen. Diese setzt eine Entwicklung in Gang, die auf den funktionalisierungsbedingten Verlust der konstruktiven Rolle der genannten Wissenschaften bei der Entwicklung von Kompetenzen hinausläuft.
AB  - Starting from Wilhelm Dilthey’s concept of understanding, the article inquires into modes 
of forming competencies within the experience of reflexive education. In line with moder nity’s understanding of science, the text designates the role of sciences as instances of po ssible real values (of optional values), whereby the spiritual sciences are ascribed the role of 
giving meaning by broadening horizons. The article questions the ground that allows for 
spiritual and pedagogical sciences within the commercialization of university teaching and 
research activities. In all this, functionalization conducts a process leading to the weakening 
of the constructive role of these sciences in the formation of competencies.
AB  - Polazeći od koncepta razumevanja Vilhelma Diltaja preispitaće se modaliteti formiranja kom petencija u okviru iskustva refleksivnog obrazovanja. U smislu novovekovnog pojma nauke, 
odrediće se uloga nauka kao instanci mogućih realnih vrednosti (opcionalne vrednosti), pri 
čemu se u pogledu smisaonih opcija duhovnim naukama pripisuje uloga otvaranja horizonata. U tom kontekstu, ukazuje se na dovođenje u pitanje karaktera omogućavanja duhovnih 
i pedagoških nauka usled komercijalizacije univerzitetskih nastavnih i istraživačkih aktivnosti. Funkcionalizacija pritom pokreće proces koji dovodi do gubitka konstruktivne uloge navedenih nauka prilikom formiranja kompetencija

of forming competencies within the experience of reflexive education. In line with moder nity’s understanding of science, the text designates the role of sciences as instances of po ssible real values (of optional values), whereby the spiritual sciences are ascribed the role of 
giving meaning by broadening horizons. The article questions the ground that allows for 
spiritual and pedagogical sciences within the commercialization of university teaching and 
research activities. In all this, functionalization conducts a process leading to the weakening

AB  - U tekstu je reč o fundamentalnom razumevanju duševnog zdravlja kao nekoj vrsti društvene idealizacije: konceptualizacija idealno zdrave ličnosti u praksi je slična idealizaciji onih osobina ličnosti koje se u odgovarajućem društvu smatraju idealno poželjnim. Stepenovanje duševnog zdravlja zatim se vrši na osnovu aproksimacije tom idealu.
Ova vrsta shvatanja duševnog zdravlja podrazumeva i razumevanje dobro integrisane ličnosti kao manje ili više sinoniman pojam dobro socijalizovanoj ličnosti. U lakanovskoj psihoanalizi osnovni činilac socijalizacije, istovremeno nosical simbolizacije iskustva, pre svega moralno normativne simbolizacije, upravo je glavni signifikator "Ime Oca", koji upućuje na funkciju očinske figure u socijalizaciji deteta koju mogu vršiti različiti akteri u životu pojedinca.
Na osnovu razumevanja signifikatora Ime Oca, Lacan i lacanovci izvode jasno razgraničene koncepcije neuroze i psihoze, i, na osnovu toga, sasvim različite, metodološki radikalno raznorodne, pristupe u lečenju jednog i drugog.
U tekstu se razmatra različita funkcija moralne normativnosti u konstituciji subjektiviteta u slučaju neuroze i psihoze i nudi se jedna donekle originalna perspektiva u duhu lakanovskih interpretacija do sada, prema kojoj svest o značaju i instrumentalnoj korisnosti moralnog normativiteta definiše duševno zdravlje, a funkcioniše dinamički i strukturno različito u slučaju neuroze i slučaju psihoze.
AB  - The paper focuses on an understanding of mental health as a sort of social idealisation: the conceptualisation of an ideally healthy personality, in practice, usually overlaps with the idealisation of those personality traits which, in the respective society, are considered particularly desirable. The quantification of mental health is then conducted based on the approximation of an individual's situation with the mentioned ideal.
The described view of mental health presupposes a corresponding understanding of a well integrated personality as more or less synonimous with a well socialised personality. In Lacanian psychoanalysis, the main factor of socialisation, and at the same time the carrier of symbolisation of experience (primarily of its morally normative symbolisation) is the main signified "Name of the Father", which suggests the morally formative role of the father figure in the socialisation of a child  (a function which, admittedly, can be performed by others, as well as by the actual father).
Based on an interpretation of the signifier Name of the Father, Lacan and the Lacanians derive clearly delineated conceptualisations of neurosis and psychosis and, consequently, methodologically radically different approaches to treating the former and the latter.
The paper discusses the roles of moral normativity in the constitution of subjectivity in the case of neurosis and of psychosis, and offers a perspective which is to some extent novel, however still in line with the main Lacanian interpretations offerred so far: the interpretation whereby it is the awareness of the significance of one's choices and the instrumental usefulness of the moral normativity one adopts that define mental health. This awareness of moral normativity functions dynamically and structurally differently in neurosis and in psychosis.

AB  - Kulturni  pristup  studijama  sećanja  posebno  naglašava  važnost tekstualizacije  i  vizualizacije  (kulturne  medijacije)  društveno  deljenih  sećanja  na prošlost. Međutim, dok se akcenat prevashodno stavlja na pitanja zašto neke predstave o prošlosti postaju dominantne u odnosu na druge, zašto se preferirane slike prošlosti menjaju tokom vremena, kao i kako se, pod kojim okolnostima i uz pomoć kojih aktera ove izmene u odabiru i predstavljanju „poželjne“ prošlosti odigravaju, manje se pažnje poklanja pitanju smene dominantnih medija kojima se slike prošlosti prenose. Istraživačko pitanje ovog rada jeste zašto u određenim društvenopolitičkim okolnostima i istorijskim periodima neke umetničke forme postaju naročito relevantne za kolektivne predstave  o  deljenoj  prošlosti.  Mogu  li  nam  same  umetničke  forme,  kao  mediji prenošenja poruka iz prošlosti, reći nešto o društveno-istorijskoj funkciji kolektivnog sećanja, kao i o samom društvu koje se na ovaj način „obraća“ svojoj prošlosti? U pokušaju da ponudi potvrdni odgovor na ovo pitanje, rad će se osvrnuti na favorizovane umetničke izraze sećanja na Drugi svetski rat u tri vremenska trenutka, u socijalističkoj Jugoslaviji i nakon nje: radi se o okvirnim vremenskim periodima kada se sećanje na Drugi svetski rat: 1) ozvaničava i institucionalizuje kao narativ o partizanskoj borbi i pobedi; 2) osporava, te preoblikuje u „disidentski“ narativ; 3) preuzima od nekadašnjeg oficijelnog sećanja i pretvara u oblik društveno-kulturne kritike.
AB  - In memory studies, the importance of textualization and visualization (cultural mediation) of the socially shared memories of the past is particularly emphasized. However, while the accent is on the issues of the reasons for some
representations to become dominant in relation to others, why the preferred images of the past change over time, as well as of the circumstances and actors
that facilitate these changes in the choice and representation of the “desirable”
past, less attention is paid to the change in the dominant media through which
these images are transferred. This paper examines the reasons behind certain
socio-political circumstances and historical periods that render particularly relevant some artistic forms in collective representations of the shared past. Can
the artistic forms themselves, as the media of transfer of the messages from the
past, testify of the socio-historical function of collective memory, as well as of
the society that “addresses” its past in this manner? Aiming for the affirmative
answer to this question, the text discusses the favoured artistic expressions of the memory of the World War II in three chronological segments in the socialist
Yugoslavia and after its collapse, when the memory is 1) marked and institutionalized as the narrative of the partisans’ struggle and victory; 2) disputed and
reshaped as the “dissident” narrative; and 3) taken over from the former official
memory and transformed into a form of social-cultural critique.

divina – a principal descoberta de seu texto. Este artigo 
procura reconstruir os usos de Benjamin da vida e vivência em 
textos anteriores e considerar a influência potencial de vários 
autores que ele estava lendo na época (Heinrich Rickert, 
Erich Unger, Kurt Hiller, Gershom Scholem). A distinção 
de Benjamin entre vida e viver é crucial para sua crítica ao 
pacifismo e para sua mudança de perspectiva: ele muda o 
foco da vítima para aquele que comete um assassinato, mas 
cujo ato violento só pode trazer justiça.
AB  - In paragraph 18 of “Toward the Critique of Violence,” the 
terms life, living, and violence, and the relations among them, 
complicate Walter Benjamin's justification of divine 
violence—his text's main discovery. This article seeks to 
reconstruct Benjamin's uses of life and living in earlier texts 
and to consider the potential influence of various authors he 
was reading at the time (Heinrich Rickert, Erich Unger, Kurt 
Hiller, Gershom Scholem). Benjamin's distinction 
between life and living is crucial for his critique of pacifism 
and for his shift in perspective: he moves the focus from the 
victim to the one committing murder, but whose violent act 
just might bring justice.

AB  - The text reconstructs the protocol of 'victory' as part of the interruption of enmity and establishment of temporary peace. Different understandings of the enemy and enmity imply that victory in war and cessation of conflict can essentially determine the way war is conducted, and that they follow rules of war.  Victory  is  supposed  to  be  a  crucial  moment  that  characterizes  the  ethics  of  war.  Particular testimonies  and  thematizations  of  victory  in  the  Orthodox  Christian  tradition  can  provide  an  intro-duction  into  a  potential  ethics  of  war  that  could  ensure  a  new  relationship  towards  the  enemy  and killing the enemy.

AB  - Delezovo razumevanje kritike, koje je izneo u delu Niče i filozofija predstavlja sistemski metod koji će Delez koristiti u svojim kasnijim delima. Zastupajući ovu tezu, rad analizira problem simulakruma, koji Delez uočava kod Platona, pokazujući na koji način je Delezovo razumevanje kritike prisutno u njegovom sagledavanju platon(izm)a. Premda se Delezov kritički metod unutar ovog rada u najvećoj meri posmatra i ispituje kroz njegovo razumevanje Platona i simulakruma, rad takođe nagoveštava mogućnost šireg razumevanje uloge kritike kod Deleza: može li se kritika razumeti kao konstantan metodski pristup kojem Delez pribegava? Takva pozicija otvara prostor unutar kog se čitava Razlika i ponavljanje može razumeti kao veliki kritički projekat, na šta Delez delimično i sam upućuje.
AB  - Deleuze’s understanding of criticism, presented in his work „Nietzsche and Philoso phy“, is a systematic method that Deleuze will use many times later. Advocating this 
thesis, the paper analyzes the problem of simulacrum, which Deleuze sees in Plato’s 
philosophy, showing how Deleuze’s understanding of critique is present in his percep tion of Plato. Although the idea of Deleuze’s critique as a method is in this paper largely 
observed and examined through his understanding of Plato and the simulacrum, the 
paper also suggests the possibility of a broader understanding of the role of criticism 
in Deleuze: can critique be understood as a constant methodological approach used 
by Deleuze? Such a position opens a space within which Difference and Repetition can 
be read as a great critical project, an Idea, which Deleuze himself partially refers to.

The text explains the application of the Collective Memory-Work (CMW)

Войиславом Стояновичем и Викторией Березняк с литературно-философской 
редакцией и примечаниями Виктора Римского и Сергея Борисова. Редакция сохраняет 
авторские постраничные указания на литературу и примечания. 
В книге герменевтически реконструирован древнеримский институт 
провокации, обеспечивавший поддержку подсудимого в административном суде 
путём воззвания к народу и его справедливости.
AB  - We continue to publish selected chapters from the Russian version of the translation 
of the book of our permanent author, a prominent Serbian philosopher of the world scale, a 
disciple of Derrida, Petar Bojanic «Pro / Vocation. The call and the right to coup» (Bojanić
Petar. PROVOCATIO. Vokativ Ius Revolucija. Belgrade, Službeni glasnik, 2008). The book 
is written in the form of a literary-philosophical essay and is based on a series of lectures 
given by Petar Bojanic in Belgrade for the media in the second half of October 2007. The 
translation was carried out by Vojislav Stoyanovich and Victoria Bereznyak with a literary 
and philosophical edition and notes by Viktor Rimsky and Sergei Borisov. The editors keep 
the author's page-by-page references to literature and notes.
The book hermeneutically reconstructs the ancient Roman institution of provocation, 
which provided support for the defendant in the administrative court by appealing to the 
people and their justice.

AB  - Rad nastoji da tematizuje odnos emancipacije i obrazovanja u četiri koraka. U prvom delu izlaže se kratki istorijski presek upotrebe termina „emancipacija“ i signalizira njena struktura, elementi i/ili figura. Drugi deo rada zajmi dva modela emancipacije koja nudi tradicija političke misli koja obeležava doba emancipacije: reč je o predlozima za revolucionarnu i cionističku emancipaciju Jevreja u devetnaestom veku. Tim modelima u trećem delu jukstaponiraju se karakteristična zagovaranja obrazovne emancipacije dvadesetog veka: jedno prosvetiteljsko i jedno prevratničko nasleđe sa odgovarajućim političkim vizijama i strategijama. Zaključni deo rezimira sličnosti i razlike (mišljenja) emancipacije u politici i emancipacije u obrazovanju i sugeriše perspektivu iz koje bi se nagovestila mogućnost emancipovanja obrazovanja od politikama dirigovanih zahteva za emancipacijom.
AB  - The article seeks to thematize the relationship between emancipation and education 
in three and a half steps. The first part presents a brief historical overview of the use 
of the term “emancipation” and signals its structure, elements and/or figure. The sec ond part of the paper borrows two models of emancipation that offer a tradition of 
political thought which marked the era of emancipation: these are the proposals for 
the revolutionary and Zionist emancipation of Jews in the nineteenth century. These 
models are juxtaposed in the third part with the characteristic advocacies of the ed ucational emancipation of the twentieth century: an Enlightenment and a subversive 
legacy with appropriate political visions and strategies. The concluding part summa rizes the similarities and differences of (thinking about) emancipation in politics and 
emancipation in education, and suggests a perspective which is a harbinger of the 
possibility of emancipating education from politically directed demands for 
emancipation.

AB  - U tekstu pretpostavljam da postoji pravoslavna etika rata koja ima svoje posebnosti 
i razlike naspram etike rata na Zapadu. Srpsko-ruski primeri služe da bi rekonstruisali 
neobična razumevanja neprijatelja i neprijateljstva, prekida sukoba, pobede u ratu i odnos 
pobede i mira. Ideja o specifičnom prekidu neprijateljstva i sukoba u pravoslavnom shva tanju rata treba da revidira različite protokole koji nisu dovoljno uspešni u uspostavljanju 
stabilnog i dugotrajnog mira.
AB  - The text assumes that there is a distinct Orthodox war ethics, with its particularities 
and distinctions from Western war ethics. Serbian and Russian examples serve to recon struct unusual understandings of the enemy and enmity, termination of conflict, victory 
in war, as well as the relation of victory and peace. In Orthodox Christianity, the idea of 
a specific termination of enmity and conflict ought to revise various protocols insufficiently successful in establishing stable and long-term peace.

a specific termination of enmity and conflict ought to revise various protocols insufficiently successful in establishing stable and long-term peace.",

AB  - The 1840 murder of a notable 19th century Bosnian dignitary Smail-aga Čengić immediately inspired strong artistic production in the South Slav literature and oral tradition. These narratives, comprising newspaper articles, oral epic songs, and particularly Ivan Mažuranić’s literary epics written in the manner of oral folk epic, presented and codified Smail-aga as a bloodthirsty tyrant whose ultimate aim was to terrorize and extinct his Christian subjects. In distinction, some marginalized local narratives and oral folk tradition, which will be examined in this article, remembered Smail-aga as a righteous and merciful lord, protector of his flock and a brave warrior. Thus, when we scrutinize several versions of oral songs about the death of Smail-aga recorded between 1845 and 1860, as well as later collected anecdotes from his native Herzegovina, it appears that his hostile portrayal in written literature was rather the contribution of the Serbian and Croatian Romantic nationalists around the mid19th-century than an actual popular perception of him among local people in the region that he lived with. In conclusion, the article advocates for a wider consideration of the overall
polyphonic narrative tradition and the revitalization of traditional narratives that glorify values which transcend strict religious, ethnic and national divisions as a way of reimagining and revaluating relationship of the South Slavs towards the Ottoman heritage.

AB  - The article offers a comparative analysis of minority politics and arrangements for the autonomy of Hungarians in Vojvodina and Albanians in Kosovo, which were Serbian territories and provinces during much of the 20th century. It discusses the reasons why minority struggles led to violence and independence in the Albanian case, while being peacefully accommodated within society, and even providing internal cohesion and good neighbourly relations, in the Hungarian case. The analysis follows both minorities from their post-1918 and post-1945 status in the two respective Yugoslavias, as well as in modern-day post-1990 Serbia. After providing a comparison of the political status of the two national communities, this comparative research argues against simplistic notions that view ethnic relations and conflicts in the Balkans as the result of centuries-old hatred and historically deeply rooted hostilities, and instead advocates a more nuanced perspective that is sensitive to subtleties, internal interrelations and mutual dynamics in tackling majority/minority issues.

AB  - Biblioteka XX vek nudi šarolik izbor knjiga iz niza oblasti. Slobodna deca Samerhila pokazala su mi potpuno drugačiji oblik vaspitanja i školovanja; Religije preistorije predstavile su mi složenost, bogatstvo pećinskog slikarstva – bilo mi je neverovatno da tumačenje pećinskih slika može obuhvatiti celu knjigu! U Antropologiji žene nalazio sam neke izuzetno podsticajne analize patrijarhata i društvenih oblika muške dominacije koje sam prepoznavao u sredini u kojoj sam živeo. Carstvo zemaljsko i carstvo nebesko i Vidovdan i časni krst pokazali su mi da se o kulturi Srba može pisati drugačije od klasičnih srpskih etnologa, ne samo deskriptivno i afirmativno nego i kritički; Morfologija bajke bila je savršena, neodoljiva demonstracija dometa strukturalističke analize itd. Dakle, uz moje fakultetsko obrazovanje, koje je sadržalo i mnoštvo usko disciplinarnih, dosadnih, uniformnih sadržaja, ova edicija je pružala jedno dodatno, bogato, ne-disciplinarno, pa i nedisciplinovano znanje, zanimljive naslove koji su mi otvarali oči za teme i fenomene u širokom polju kulture, posebno iz oblasti etnologije i antropologije, za koje nisam ni znao da mogu biti predmet ozbiljne, naučne analize, i pri tom ilustrovali kako se o tim kulturnim pojavama može pisati na jedan manje akademski dogmatičan način.

AB  - Otpornost se opisuje kao sposobnost da se na izazove odgovori putem adaptacije, jer prilagođavanje omogućava oporavak i razvoj. Koncept otpornost je blisko povezan sa konceptom dobrobiti koji se razume kroz unapređivanje ljudske egzistencije u različitih sferama. Kvalitet života predstavlja temeljni element dobrobiti, a dinamično sagledavanje rizika i intenzivnih promena u društvu usmeravaju modernu perspektivu na bezbednost koja fenomenološki stoji u osnovama ljudskih potreba.
Povezanost daje ogromnu prednost u kriznim situacijama, jer kohezija u zajednici kreira potencijal za prevazilađenje krize. Uključivanje žena kao akterki u sferi bezbednosti usmereno je na postizanje takve kohezije, jer podrazumeva korigovanje asimetrije moći učesnika, subjekta bezbednosti i subjekta opasnosti. U radu se sagledava društvena regulacija uloge žena u bezbednosnoj sferi kako bi se utvrdili elementi povezanosti u odnosu na one koji dovode do izolovanosti. Cilj ovog rada je da ukaže na to da funkcionalan pristup obezbeđivanju bezbednosti, kao vrednosti koja omogućava održivost i razvoj zajednice, podrazumeva integrativan pristup otpornosti, odn. potrebu uključivanja žena kao akterki u sistem bezbednosti, jer društvena praksa koja nema integrativan pristup bezbednosnoj strategiji lišava to društvo njegovih ukupnih atributa i time negativno utiče na njegovu otpornost umanjujući je.
AB  - Resilience is described as the ability to respond to challenges through adaptation, because adaptation enables recovery and development. The concept of resilience is closely related to the concept of well-being, which is understood through the improvement of human existence in various spheres. Quality of life is a fundamental element of well-being, and the dynamics of perception of risks and intense changes in society shape the modern perspective on security, which is phenomenologically at the core of human needs.

Social connections gives huge advantage in crisis situations, because cohesion in the community creates the potential to overcome the crisis. The inclusion of women as actors in the security sphere is aimed at achieving such cohesion, because it implies correcting the asymmetry of power of the participants (i.g. the subject of security and the subject of danger). The paper examines the social regulation of the role of women in the security sphere in order to determine and relate what enables building of social networks and what leads to isolation. The aim of this paper is to highlight a functional approach to security determined as a value that enables sustainability and community development, Such social function of security implies an integrative approach to resilience that features women as actors within the security system, because a social practice that does not have an integrative approach to security strategy deprives that society of its overall attributes and thus negatively affects its resilience by diminishing it.

AB  - Od retorike do filozofije prava, različite discipline bavile su se praksom kojom se neživim 
objektima pridaju ljudske osobine i sposobnosti. 
Umetnička dela nisu prepoznavana kao fiktivne 
osobe samo na nivou estetskog doživljaja već i izvan 
njega: zabeleženi su slučajevi u kojima su bila podvrgnuta krivičnoj odgovornosti. Budući da umetnička dela spadaju u onu vrstu tvorevina kojima 
nedostaju čula i svest, ipak su postavljene granice 
toj personifikujućoj metafori.

AB  - Kao odgovor na nedostatke dominantnih paradigmi društveno-ekonomskog razvoja i teorija 
pravde, osamdesetih godina prošlog veka nastao 
je pristup zasnovan na sposobnostima [capability / 
capabilities approach], koji je najpre formulisao eko nomista Amartja Sen (Amartya Sen), a potom filozofski razradila Marta Nusbaum (Martha Nussbaum).
Osnovna tvrdnja pristupa zasnovanog na sposobnostima jeste sledeća: kada postavljamo normativna pitanja o razvoju ili društvenoj pravdi, treba da 
se pitamo ne koliko su pojedinačne osobe srećne 
ili sa koliko materijalnih resursa raspolažu, već šta one zapravo „mogu da čine i da budu“ (Nussbaum 
2000: 5, 21, 62 i drugde; 2003: 34, 39; 2006: 70, 73, 
168 i drugde). Drugim rečima, pravo merilo razvoja 
i društvene pravednosti jesu, kako i sam naziv pri stupa kaže, ljudske sposobnosti. 
Ovo izdanje donosi tri teksta rodonačelnika 
pristupa zasnovanog na sposobnostima. Cilj je jednostavan: predstaviti čitaocima osnovne teorijske 
postavke pristupa zasnovanog na sposobnostima, te 
istaći neka od ključnih neslaganja između njegovih 
idejnih tvoraca.

AB  - I will demonstrate that in the understanding of the early Church, expressed through artistic symbols and images and complemented by liturgy, eschatology should not be placed at the end of history, as the finale of divine revelation and human fulfilment, but at the core of personal and historical drama.Although the NewTestament writers and other second century Christian authors expressed their eschatological vision in writing, there is a striking lack of both Christian imagery as well as relevant literary material about ecclesiastical utilisation of this imagery, from the first two centuries of the Christian era.Therefore, this investigation focuses on the period from the third to the sixth centuries with regard to both the Christian imagery and the textual material which might serve as the dogmatic basis for this imagery
